Hmmmm....Well, when I joined deviantART, everyone was into Sonic, so I started to take a little look. I enjoyed Rouge, so I got into the Knouge fandom. But then I saw Madagascar, and everything switched to Julien and ring-tailed lemurs. xD

My first sonic game that I play was a gameboy game called sonic advance(the first one)

I originally watched my sister play Mega Drive emulators on our computer and stuff like that.
From then on, Sonic sometimes popped up throughout my life (Getting a Sonic action figure that broke on the day I got it, wanting Sonic Heroes really badly but not getting it because I was afraid to ask for it, etc.), and then I got a copy of Sonic Rush for the DS in 2008 and played it, having a lot of fun.
From there, what really got me into the franchise was a random memory of watching my sister playing on the Mega Drive emulators whilst I was playing Rush, so I got a copy of Sonic Mega Collection and nothing can stop me now.

When I first played Sonic 1 or Sonic 2 or something. That's when I became addicted to him.

But waaaaayy back then I used to watch Sonic X when I was 3.
