The Twilight Saga

Twilight sucks. Really. The plot is terrible, the Vampires are pussified, the characters are bland and the movie was INCREDIBLY uneventful and boring.

One of my main issues is Bella. First of all, she has NO personality ('course... that is actually brilliant for marketing, cuz that makes it easier for fangirls to imagine that THEY are Bella). She doesn't have taste, she doesn't have problems, she doesn't have anything bad about her - she is the perfect girl. And NO ONE likes to read about the perfect girl. Because, what makes characters interesting is them facing obstacles, dealing with personal issues and MAKING CHOICES. None of these apply to Bella. She never makes a single choice in the first book. She is always pulled, forced or just wanders her way into situations that didn't involve her.

Also, the Bella-Edward relationship is terrible. It's built mainly upon them staring at each other. There's no chemestry between the characters - it's just more of that ''love at first sight'' bullsh*t.
Edward is INCREDIBLY abusive of Bella, as well...

I hate Twilight.... and it's minor, but srsly - wtf is up with the Vampires sparkling? What sense AT ALL does that make? In the second book, even, Edward's big plan to reveal himself as a vampire is to go out into the public, sparkling in the sun. Cuz OH YEAH! When people see someone sparkling - They're gonna know he's a goddamn vampire.

I've read none of the books, I've only been with my girlfriend to see New Moon in the movies (only cuz she wanted to go see it), and didn't understand much in it.

I just find it amusing how everyone is divided by this series. There are those who want to have Pattinson's babies, and there are those who want him to just go die.

Personally, I've got no opinion. But I have to agree with the whole vampire sparkle-skin thing... I mean, really... NO-ONE WOULD KNOW! To someone else you'd just look like you've just came out of the frickin' shower and haven't bothered to use a towel... not to mention looking like a freak.

I don't want RP to die, I don't think anyone would considering his stance in the question of Twilight. He didn't even like the series, only agreed to it because he wanted to work with K. Stewart, and he himself thinks of Edward as someone who would be an axe murderer if you met him IRL xD
