Portal... 2!

My god, I only just recently got Portal (stole it of the interwebs) and was amazed at the fact that having only 2 talking characters, you, an inanimate object, cake, and a portal creating device could make such a great story and game. Even some of my friends - when I explained it to them hated it, or just never liked games in general - played it, they loved it! Even the teacher loves just watching us play it! (yes, I play it during school) I have no idea how this game got so popular with semingly little effort with a small staff and little amount of time by college graduates.

But now that I know that Portal 2 is coming out, I'm excited about what's happening. GLaDOS is, get this, "still alive", and this sequels cake has something to do with pie... The pie is a lie? Dunno what this meme will be. Oh, did I mention a *bleep*ing CO-OP MODE!!!????!?!? That's right, and the puzzles get more confusing, or for me, more fun. There's also paint that changes floors and walls properties or something, not sure what that's about. Oh and because at the end of the first game, there's a huge explosion and whatnot, the testing chambers include grass and greenery in it. Maybe some animals that chase you down? Wouldn't know, myself.



So, what do you think about a Portal sequel? Good or bad or meh? I'll try to find some pictures of it in the meantime.

Well, I for one am also excited for the sequel, I hope we get to see a new trailer or new footage this E3.

In a gameinformer magazine that I read, it said that the hoop that rolls in front of you at the end was expected to to be a meme. Instead, most of GLaDOS' phrases, the companion cube, and the cake equalling to a lie were memes, and were "unexpected." now, replacing the cake is a pie, but it's not a lie. And to break the silence, personality spheres will talk to you. I do hope that animals will try to attack though, so it GLaDOS would say something like "i used hyper sound on that animal to enrage it into attacking you. If you didn't destroy that Aperture Science Thing That We Dont Know What It Does, I might have not done that."

... Or just wild animals that you can do the infinite loop with would be cool too.

Apparently Portal 2 has been delayed, in favor of putting TF2 on the Mac. It's a win/loss I guess, since both are awesome.

That's news to me. Kinda sucks, but I hope it's for the better!

I've said this before, but even the almighty Obama is excited for Portal 2. With that being said, Portal 1 was a tad bit to short for me, me hopes Portal 2 is longer.
