In this 65 episode series, Sonic and his two siblings, Manic and Sonia, belong to a rock band called Sonic Underground. When actuality they are the children of Queen Aleana, the queen of Mobius, who went into hiding to escape from Dr. Robotnik, who has turned Mobius into a waste land. Now Sonic, Manic, and Sonia must defeat Dr. Robotnik, his two lackeys Sleet and Dingo, and the SWAT Bots, with the help of their magical medallions to finally bring peace to Mobius and find their mother, Queen Aleana. Due to its low popularity, only 40 of the 65 episodes were released and only ran for one season from 1998 to 1999.
