Please make sure you read and follow all of the rules. As you can see from below, we do not have many, so please try to follow all of them as there isn't that much. If you are caught breaking any rules you may be warned, and if you continue to break them you will be banned from the entire board. Thanks in advance, TSF Staff. And remember, we PWN j00. <3

  • 1. Spelling & Grammar
    Try to type in words that other members can understand, do not type in AOL language, text speak, etc. as it gets very annoying. Sentences such as "hai guyz so lyke wats up wit all of u?!" are not acceptable, it not only makes it hard to read but it looks really bad, keep it nice and tidy. CAPS-LOCK IS CRUISE CONTROL FOR COOL. EVEN WITH CRUISE CONTROL YOU STILL HAVE TO STEER. ALteRnaTIng LoWEr aNd UpPer CasE iS bAd ToO!
    And don't get us started on bright, obnoxious, unnecessary colors; or excessive punctuation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  •  1.1. Languages

    This is an English speaking board, if you don't speak English at all, we don't recommend you register here. If we don't know what a member is saying, how can the rules be upheld? But we guess you can always use the translator on the Portal.

     

  • 2. Spaming
    Spam is also not allowed, do not just type one word for a post such as "Yeah", "Okay", etc. try to make your sentences long, or atleast 3 - 6 words as a minimum. Also, do not stay off-topic from the current discussion you're in, if it is about computers don't start talking about food or anything else non-related, keep the topic discussion the same as it was from post one.

     

  • 2.1. Bumping

    We have a "bump up" feature, where the post with the most recent addition goes to the top of the forum listing. If your post is good, it'll be responded to. If it's responded to, it'll undergo the process we call Natural Bumping. Natural Bumping = good. Unnatural bumping = bad. Unnatural Bumping is where someone posts, "I'm adding this to put this thread back at the top." Do it, we slap your hand. Do it often, you pull back a bloody stump, or in other words, you'll get a warn point!

     

  • 3. Double posting
    You are not allowed to double post on The Sonic Family. If you do it by mistake please note it in your second post that you didn't mean it and one of our sexy Staff members will delete it, but if you do it to bump a topic, you shall be warned and the topic will be moved to the trash.

     

  • 4. Illegal Content
    You may not post any illegal things on The Sonic Family, be it illegal software and speacially P0RN! The Sonic Family is aimed towards teenagers and the last thing anyone needs to see is anything illegal being posted on the board. Any posts that relate to this will be trashed.

     

    5. Flaming & Abuse
    Do not flame another member in a topic because you don't think what he/she says is right. You can however state your own opinion such as saying - "I don't like this because...". Also, you may not abuse/stalk a certain member. If you are found doing so you will be banned from the entire network.

     

  • 6. Account Management
    Please be reminded that the staff on The Sonic Family can not be held responsible for any editing of your accounts at any given time. If your account is violating any of our rules, then it shall be removed - else the staff will not interfere. User avatars are not to be over 64kb, and signatures are not to stretch the horizontal forum width or exceed 300px in height. Here's an image to help guide you on this:
